What bands do you no longer want to see?

I’ll start…. after the Brits; Blur.

As for me…. I’m going to stick my neck out and say the Stones. They’re one of my favourites from the 60s, but not sure I’d want to see them in their 60s prancing around as if it’s 1974 (Mick I’m looking at you here).

They were really poor, but then I’d struggle to get up for playing at an awards show if you’re actually playing live. Most of the other artists were just dancing or miming, bar Adele (who was brilliant). I’ve seen them live 4 times and they’ve been amazing every time. I was at Hyde Park for the first night of the comeback gig and it’s one of the best gigs I’ve ever been to. So think it’s a bit premature.

I’m with Guy all the way. A poor performance at a crappy awards ceremony means jack shit. I remember Hot Chip doing a TERRIBLE performance at the Mercury’s – and they’re bloody awesome live.I’ve got my Blur Olympic closing ceremony tickets, and I expect nothing short of a classic!
