Honestly. I think the battle for the album of the year is over and it’s only March. If anyone releases a record that’s better than St Vincent’s new one, it’ll be some feat. I seriously urge you to spend some time with it, it’s the best thing she’s ever done…
I have spent a bit of time with this album (pre and post your post). While I find it easy to admire I’ve not fallen in love with it. I’ve always been far more intrigued by the concept of her then the reality. This is the most accessible of her stuff for me though. I’ll keep going with it.
