Really interesting stuff. You’re right in that the production is awesome, really impressed by that first up. As you may expect the first track is the one that goes for me. Wonky, 80s-influenced pop, in fact there’s an 80s vibe throughout the lot (the second made me think of Sade, but not in a bad way). Good call Brother Joseph.
Ha ha. Yep the second really reminded me of a band I introduced a year or so ago called ‘Rhye’ … which in turn is very much like listening to Sade. But hey, I’m going to go out on a limb here … I like Sade.
I remember Rhye. There were some great remixes of them knocking around last year. Atmospheric stuff though and stands out from the crowd.
I really wide varient between the tracks. I like it!
The album is madness, all over the shop! Maybe too much for me? Worth a listen though
